Anusha Bhat from the second cohort is the Program Representative for Bioceb under the EMA Students & Alumni Relations Unit for the period 22-09-2022 to 01-10-2023.

Double Degree Day at Aalto University

Anusha Bhat, together with her local program coordinator Anja Hänninen and fellow student Willow Dew, represented the Bioceb joint masters program at Aalto University’s Double Degree Day on November 22nd, 2022. The purpose of this activity was to raise awareness about joint master’s degrees and the Bioceb team was present to highlight the program among bachelor’s students.

A booth was set up at Aalto University’s undergraduate center, and bachelor students who were interested could show up and converse with the co-ordinator and students. Prospective students were given information on the program’s structure, scholarship availability, eligibility to apply, and documents necessary etc. Anusha and Willow gave a presentation in which they discussed their personal experiences with the program and urged students to apply. Following the presentation, there was a question and answer session to address the queries related to the program framework. Overall, it was an excellent representation of the Bioceb program at Aalto university.

Bioceb programme representative at EMA GA 2023

Anusha Bhat was recently invited to the General Assembly in Lisbon, Portugal.

"It was a fantastic opportunity for me to connect with program representatives from other EMJMD programs," she adds. I also found the seminars across the general assembly days to be quite enlightening. A fantastic chance to meet industry leaders, national representatives, PhD students, and EMA volunteers. I genuinely grasped the importance of community and how it can enhance Erasmus experiences and assist in navigating life after Erasmus. There were several co-creation sessions in which we explored project concept ideas, value propositions, the necessity of negotiation, and a variety of other issues. Overall, I had a good time at the GA and am looking forward to the next one."

Anusha Bhat and Celia Marin Collado’s (track 5, cohort 2) Green Line project work was exhibited in the GA poster competition and received the award for one of the best posters. It was an incredible representation of Bioceb at the EMA GA, and we appreciate the effort and hard work put in by EMA volunteers to make EMJMD known all around the world.
